The Clubhouse opened in 1980, the same time as the golf course. Over the years a variety of expansions and improvements have been made in order to accommodate the needs of the membership and the many events held there.
Conveniently located, the clubhouse looks out onto a panoramic view of the golf course and also overlooks the Okanagan Valley. The large 1,500 sq. ft. balcony directly overlooks the 9th green allowing a first hand view of golfers attempting to conquer this 500 yard par 5.
The top floor of the Clubhouse seats 120, but it can be increased to 150 for special events including golf tournaments. Events are best held to 120 to provide appropriate room for a prize tables, and to accommodate a Buffet Line and Dance Floor.
The Club’s Administration Offices as well as washrooms round out the top floor.
The Lower Floor includes the Men’s & Ladies Locker Rooms as well as the Professional Shop, Club Storage and general clubhouse maintenance and storage.
The putting green adjacent to the upper floor is often used for special event photos, with a generous flower bed, flag pole, and the golf course in the background.
For over 30 years the Clubhouse has served members and the public well, providing a comfortable, friendly atmosphere for socializing before as well as after golf. It has hosted a variety of special events as well, from dinners for special events like the Summerland Men’s Amateur held annually on the September Long Weekend, to theme events like Mother’s Day, Christmas Parties, and many mixed socials.
The Clubhouse undergoes constant upgrades in order to ensure that it meets or exceeds the needs of members and guests.
